Its characteristic design and incomparable slimness are unmistakably La Grande Classique de Longines. Created following the success of the earlier Agassiz range which was exclusively made in 18ct gold, La Grande Classique was an immediate success and is still as popular today, several decades later.
This lady’s Longines La Grande Classique has a PVD case and is fitted with a leather strap from the shaped lugs. The dial is perfectly pared down look both elegant and clear, the hands and markers easily discernible against the gold coloured dial. The incredibly slim case, at 4.4mm thick, houses a quartz, battery powered movement. The watch is boxed but sadly there is no accompanying paperwork, however we believe it to date from circa 2011.
