Gents, brushed stainless steel, Rolex Air King, 41000. Automatic Chronometer movement. Complete with original box and papers, 1997 edition purchased in 2000.
The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King was released in 1945 amidst World War II, and is the only model still in production from the original Rolex “Air” range. During this golden age of aviation, the Air-King proved to be favoured by pilots on their first extreme flights, such as the Houston Expedition. The Air-King epitomises Rolex’s ties with the aeronautical world by paying tribute to these original pioneers of flight. This Air-King was manufactured in 1997 and is now a discontinued model, however it stays true to its Air-King heritage with features such as an Oyster case, screw down crown, and a chronometer certification.
This gent’s brushed stainless steel Rolex Air-King is fitted on a brushed stainless steel Oyster bracelet. The 34mm case houses a ‘Precision’ automatic chronometer movement. The distinctive copper dial features silver Arabic 3,6 ,9 numerals and luminous batons, encased by a fixed polished bezel. Complete with original box and paperwork first purchased in 2002.
