Since 1884, Leon Breitling dedicated his brand to the creation of timers and chronographs. Many chronograph advancements have been made thanks to their devotion to this field: first inventing the wrist chronograph with an independent pushpiece in 1915, followed by a patented system including a second pushpiece in 1923, enabling the start/stop and reset functions to be separated. The modern-day chronograph is what it is thanks to Breitling.
