Gent’s stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air King. Ref. 14010M. Automatic chronometer certified movement, complete with box and papers dated 2005.
The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King was released in 1945, towards the end of the Second World War. It was the only model still in production from the original Rolex “Air” range. During this golden age of aviation, the Air-King proved to be favoured by pilots on their first extreme flights, such as the Houston Expedition. The Air-King epitomises Rolex’s ties with the aeronautical world by paying tribute to these original pioneers of flight. Rolex watches have been in just about every hostile environment imaginable. Where precision and robustness are required, you need look no further.
This gent’s Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air King is made from stainless steel and fitted to a brushed Oyster bracelet. The 34mm case houses a ‘Precision’ automatic calibre 3130 chronometer movement. This watch has a clear white dial with silver baton markers and black roman numerals, highlighted by an engine-turned bezel. It comes complete with box and paperwork dated 2005.
