The Breitling Navitimer Heritage pays tribute to the original Navitimer design but is distinguishable for being slightly smaller in diameter. The Navitimer is instantly recognisable as one of Breitling’s flagship ranges. Released in 1952, the Navitimer was originally created for pilots as a navigation aid; using features such as the slide-rule bezel and chronograph. The Navitimer is also the world’s oldest mechanical chronograph, and has acclaim as being the world’s first wristwatch worn in space by Scott Carpenter in 1962.
This gent’s Breitling Navitimer Heritage has a polished stainless steel Pilot bracelet with fine links to enhance comfort. The 41mm stainless steel case houses an automatic self-winding calibre 13 movement, perfect for every day wear. The reflective blue dial includes a date window and has 3subidals that register 60 seconds, 30 minutes and 12hours. The slide rule bezel around the edge of the sapphire crystal glass is unidirectional. Complete with original box and papers dated 2018. The Navitimer Heritage is the perfect example of a sophisticated, modern dress watch.
