As the oldest mechanical chronograph in the world still in production, the Navitimer has a formidable heritage. To this add the achievement of being the first wrist chronograph to be taken into space, as part of the Aurora 7 mission, on the wrist of Scott Carpenter. Breitling’s status as ‘official supplier to world aviation’ is very much deserved and the watch which typifies this is undoubtedly their most iconic timepiece, the Navitimer.

This gentleman’s stainless steel Breitling Old Navitimer is fitted with a blue leather strap to compliment the blue dial, highlighted with silvered sub-dials and slide rule bezel. The case houses a calibre Breitling 13 automatic chronometer chronograph movement with 30 minute and 12 hour registers. This watch has its original box and papers and dates from 1994.
