TERMS & CONDITIONS
Thank you for using www.copejewellers.co.uk. Before placing any orders through this website please read these terms and conditions carefully. They govern your use of our website, along with any purchase of goods and services from it. By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and consent to the use of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Orders
The website will guide you through your purchase when placing an order. By placing an order you will have offered to purchase an item(s) from us. Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email of acknowledgement detailing your order. This is not a confirmation or acceptance of your order by Cope Jewellers, simply a notification that we have received your request. At this point we will be under no obligation to supply the product(s) ordered. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. Once we have accepted your order, we shall charge your account for payment of the goods ordered (which includes VAT and postage where applicable). Please retain your ‘Confirmation of Order’ email until you receive the goods.
We endeavour to update our website regularly. However, all products on our website are subject to availability and may be previously sold. In the unlikely event that the item(s) you have ordered is out of stock, subject to delay, or has increased in price, we will contact you at the email address you provided when placing your order, or by telephone.
We reserve the right to decline your order if the item is out of stock, we are unable to obtain payment authorisation, or if we identify a pricing or product error.
Prices and Payment
All prices for products and services are quoted on the website in Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate. Pre-Owned items include a lower level of VAT in accordance with the VAT Margin Scheme. A product’s correct price will always be stated and confirmed as part of our sales procedure when you pay for your item.
VAT is included in all advertised prices on our website.
Payment can be made securely online by Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit and Electron. All debit/credit cardholders will be subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If authorisation of your payment card is refused by the issuer, we will not be liable for delay or non-delivery of your order.
All payments via our website are processed by Barclays ePDQ payment processing service. Cope Jewellers is not liable for the functionality and availability of their service.
In exceptional circumstances, if we are unable to fulfil an order we have accepted you will be notified by email and your payment card re-credited with the original amount.
With the exception of special orders and bespoke items, all purchases can be exchanged or refunded if returned in the condition they were bought, within 7 days Returns Policy.
Delivery & Order Cancellations
Cope Jewellers only deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom. We will arrange for your order to be delivered to the address to which the payment card is registered.
If there is no one present to accept and sign for the delivery, please follow the instructions on the card left by the Royal Mail in order to organise re-delivery, or to collect from your local sorting office.
If you have made a mistake and wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible by email or phone. If your order is of a bespoke nature, or to be personalised (ie. engraved), we cannot cancel it if the work has begun.
We reserve the right to cancel the order if a) the item is out of stock; b) your delivery address is outside the United Kingdom; c) the price of one or more ordered items was listed incorrectly due to a typographical error or incorrect pricing information received by us from the supplier.
In the event of an order cancellation, you will receive an email notification. Any amount deducted from your payment card will be refunded as soon as possible within 30 days of your order.
Refunds
If you wish to return an item for exchange or a refund, please follow the instructions in our Delivery & Returns section. Please note that these instructions pertain to website transactions only. Purchases made directly from one of our stores are subject to statutory consumer regulations. We cannot exchange or refund bespoke items, or items that have been personalised (ie. engraved), unless they are defective (excluding accidental damage).
