The Oris Big Crown X1 was created in homage to the first manned supersonic flight to break the sound barrier. In a tribute to the incredible feat of aviation Oris created and named this timepiece after the X-1 plane. The timepiece features a slide rule bezel heralding back to the era of the the late 1940’s when the X-1 plane would have been flown and a gunmetal PVD coating on the case.

This gentleman’s stainless steel Oris Big Crown X1 Calculator Pilot Watch is fitted on a black leather strap. The 46mm case houses an automatic self-winding chronograph movement with a day-date complication. The black dial features arab numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9. Complete with original box and paperwork this watch dates from 2015.
