Rado’s story starts in 1917 but it is the early 1960’s that brings about the iconic ‘Original’ watch and Rado’s use of high-tech materials. Their catalogue of materials, which have helped them gain many awards for their innovative designs, reads unlike any other watch brand. The Sintra family began in 1993 and its design has changed very little since, its purpose to serve as a functional, comfortable yet stylish timepiece.

This gentleman’s Rado Sintra has a platinum coloured high-tech ceramic bracelet and case, with a full-covering sapphire crystal. It is a ‘Jubilee’ model having 4 diamonds at the quarter markers of the blue dial. The movement is battery-powered quartz, with date and second hand. It was purchased in 2008 and has the original box and papers.
