In the history of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual two key dates stand out. 1926 marked the launch of the Rolex Oyster with its screw down case back, crown and bezel for protection against water and dust. 1931 was the year Rolex invented the world’s first automatic self-winding mechanism with perpetual rotor. These innovations combined to create a watch that has changed very little over the decades, and is still today one of the most recognisable watches in the world.

This lady’s stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual is on an Oyster bracelet. Its 26mm case houses an automatic self-winding movement. Its silver coloured baton dial compliments the watch’s simplicity perfectly. The watch is dated from its serial number to 1998.
