Longines Heritage Military 1938

The Longines pilot's watches made for the Czechoslovakian Air Force in the 1930s and 40s are some of the more unusual military watches from the World War II era. These watches were oversized and had large clear dials which were framed with unfamiliar case shapes. Longines has reached back into the archive, releasing the new Heritage 1938, a tribute to these early aviation instruments. There are a few updates, but the Heritage 1938 is very faithful to both the aesthetics and spirit of the original. This Longines Heritage Military 1938 is presented on a vintage grey leather strap with pin buckle. Its round, 43mm case is up to 30m water resistant, fitted with a durable sapphire crystal glass displaying a black dial with luminous hands, Arabic numerals and date at 6 o’clock.
