Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch

The Speedmaster- the one and only watch to travel to the moon. On the 20th of July 1969 after eight years of great effort and $20 billion of investment, the Eagle, carrying Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin landed on the moon with the whole world watching in awe. In a mission of such great importance, the timepieces these men were wearing needed to be robust and extremely accurate. NASA chose the Omega Speedmaster for this task, and ever since this model has been part of all six lunar missions making it an icon for collectors and enthusiasts. This particular model is the latest version of the Moonwatch, presented on a tapered stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp. Inside the 42mm case, and behind the Hesalite crystal, lies an Omega 3861 calibre, manual wind Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement. The black baton dial features three time registers with a black bezel and aluminium tachymetric scale.
