Rolex Datejust 36

Introduced in 1945, the Datejust has the distinction of being the first wristwatch to display “just” the date in a window. In recent years Rolex has been subtly improving this iconic model. The water resistant Oystersteel case has been streamlined to sharpen and define its lines, and is now fully polished. The Jubilee bracelet has also undergone some minor practical and aesthetic modifications, notably the strengthened centre links and the Oysterlock Easylink clasp extension. Of course, some of the more iconic design flourishes will always endure. The 18ct white gold fluted bezel and cyclops date magnifier are not only quintessentially Rolex, but also continue the legacy of this beautifully proportioned classic.
